We had a pretty crazy week this week it went by really fast.
Monday we did our normal p day stuff. the day was over before we knew it. then we went to the Wlokas to have family home evening.
Tuesday we were running around all day trying to contact some people. no one was home so that sucks but we still had a good day. then we had our English and German classes. we had a pakistani man and a greek lady there. these classes are always fun.
Wednesday we had zone training meeting in Leipzig. that took up most of the day. after the meeting i had to sit in another meeting because my comp is DL. then we got on the train and went back to Magdeburg. When we got back we went on tausch because the DL has to tausch with all the elders in his district one a transfer. so they put me with Elder gibbs trainee. we had a good time.
Thursday i was with Elder Bodtcher for the whole day. we did a lot of study because trainees get a lot of time for that. then we had a lesson with Yika, an African man that we met. it was an awesome lesson and he is really interested. then we did a little finding until we had a lesson with Johanna. that was interesting. normally Her father does most of the talking. and between her her father and elder german i wouldn't have to say much more than two sentences. but this week her father didn't have a whole lot to say, i was senior comp with a trainee who has only been in germany for a week so it was up to the spirit and i to make it work. the lesson went fantastic and Bruder Titigue talked about how much my German has improved it was really cool. after the lesson we went to tausch back but the other two were in a lesson and to avoid being home too late we didn't tausch back.
Friday we tausched back after studies. and then i was only with Elder Gallacher long enough to do weekly planning the we got on a train to go to Köthen and we had annother tausch. So Elder Bell and i went back to Magdeburg. Then we ate a pizza and went to bed.
Saturday we got up did our studies and then we went and saw marian and rafeal. we hadnt been able to contact them all week. they had been sick and their phones were off. but they said everything was good. Then we went and played soccer with a bunch of people. i cant wait to come home to where i have skills. then we went by some more investigators and before we knew it it was time to tausch back.
Sunday was a good Sunday but we didn't have many people at church. only 23 people  we didn't have an eating appointment so we got together with the other elders and had leftovers/ whatever we can find. then we did some finding and just like that the week was over.
i LOVE being here in Germany

its so much fun. its really pretty now that the sun shines. i cant wait for it all to be green.

This week went by really fast. a lot happened.

Monday we went to the Dom. ill send some pics in a little bit. that was pretty much all that we did on Monday. besides the normal stuff.

Tuesday was an ordinary missionary day in Magdeburg. not a whole lot of stuff happened. we had a lesson and did a lot of finding.

Wednesday we had district meeting. district lunch was outlawed so we all went to different restaurants. then we had a couple of appointments fall out but we had an awesome lesson with Johanna and her father so that worth it.

on Thursday i got to go to Berlin. We got up early and got on a train. then we got into Berlin and Elder Gallacher went to his meeting and i got to go finding with my best friend from the MTC Elder Westburry. i found out the original spelling of Ruesch is actually Rüsch they add the e because English doesn't have ü. i got to ride on a double decker bus and a subway so that was cool. rumor has it that i pads come in April but rumor had it that they were coming in December. but that would be a cool b day present.

Friday we taught a Romanian family that was interesting. they were super hard core Christians but the Muslim culture has a big influence. it made for an interesting lesson. i felt right at home the two young boys were trying to kill one another. and their was a 2 year old girl using me as a jungle gym as i'm trying to teach a lesson.

Saturday i was on tausch with elder Greaves from Bermburg we had some fun. played soccer and beat the Germans. they weren't happy about loosing. then we played the middle eastern and it got boring so we left. we met with marian and rafeal and then we went and tausched back.

Sunday was a really boring day at church we have a questions comments concerns to start off priesthood. this we they argued about the sacrament water temperature. then one of the members wanted wine and it was an interesting meeting. our branch here is so dysfunctional. after that nothing really happened next week we find out our new branch president so that's cool

The week was good. I'm doing good the new comp is good. President Romney is doing better. he flew home today. its better that he gets real medical care than this socialist excuse for it they have here.  I did get the letter from Marabell it was really nice.

Monday we had p day like always. not a whole lot went on. mostly cleaning and packing. then we got a text saying we have mission conference on the 24th of April. hopefully we get i pads that would be a good b day present.

Tuesday was transfer day i put elder germann on a train and said goodbye the elders glyssmeyer and gibbs and i waited for new people. we went to the store and rittersport chocolate bars were on sale for 55 cents so i bought a ton because i love them a lot. then elder glyssmeyer and i got our new comps and elder gibbs went to berlin for his golden
my new comp is elder Gallacher. hes a really fun elder from cali. (crazy i still haven't had a Utah comp) he just finished training my mtc comp elder Clemens. small mission haha.

Wednesday we had a couple of power visits with  some members. that was fun.

Thursday we met elder gibb's golden (Germans don't call them greenies) Elder Bodtcher. he seems like he'll be a really good missionary.

Friday we had district meeting. then we had district lunch and all the normal stuff. not a lot happened this week

Saturday we played soccer and got killed by some German kids. then we had an awesome lesson with marian and gallia and rafeal. she made us some awesome food and that went really well. we talked about the priesthood. he cant wait to get baptized so he can get the priesthood.

Sunday we had church. i bore my testimony again. so dad is yet another week behind me. then we went to wulfen and met with the Staigers and had dinner it was awesome. that makes up my whole week. i hope that all is good for you guys. i love you.

This week was absolutely insane. I cant believe it all happened in one week. Monday we had 6th pday so it was a lot of cleaning. then we did our emails and stuff and then p day was over. and we went to a lesson but the lady didn't show up.

Tuesday we did our studies and stuff then we had exchanges with elders short and Glyssmeyer i was with elder short here in Magdeburg. we did some street finding and then we went to our English and German classes that we teach. one of the guys we found on the street came and we had a really good time. about half way through Marian called and said they couldn't come because Galia was sick. so elder short and i went and gave her a blessing. (the pictures of the stairs is from their door. that was fun to move furniture up) then we  went home. the long exposure pic is of the autobahn on our way.

Wednesday was when things really got crazy. We had district meeting and what not elder Romney didn't come because of some pain he was having. we exchanged back and went about doing normal missionary stuff. about two hours later we got a phone call and were told that Elder Romney was in the hospital he had a heart attack. we ran to the bahn stop and got the next one to the hospital. when we got there we were in a panic we found sister Romney and she was a wreck. we got to go in and see elder  Romney expecting the worst. as we go in he acted like nothing happened. he tried to sit up but we told him to lie down. he then went on to tell us about "man these heart attack things there crazy" he was still like president Romney we gave him a blessing and then we waited at the hospital until it was time to go home. it made for a hectic night.

Thursday we started getting everything ready for the transfer to end. we got our bikes from the other twos apartment. (they've been there since i got here)  then we did some finding. president Romney was released from ICU 4 days earlier than expected. the priesthood really does work miracles. then we had a lesson with fadi that went really well.

Friday we went to visit president Romney. hes doing really well. he has a new friend. his name is luther and he is his roommate at the hospital. (i'm pretty sure he just talks and talks and talks to luther . i'm not sure how much luther understands) president Romney was so funny. he was worried about what president Kosak would think when he got there Sunday. he was scared because his shoes weren't polished and he couldn't shave because of the blood thinners he was on. it was really funny.

Saturday we got our transfer calls. My new companion will be Elder Gallacher. he is our new district leader. and until tomorrow that's about all i know. we had an awesome first lesson at someones door. then we went and played soccer with marian and rafael. then 4 german kids came and asked us to play with them. they were terrible the two Americans the man that was in a motorcycle accident and the 9 year old should never be the stars of the game but in this one they were. then we went and broke the news about transfers to Glaia. she was sad but still fed us so that's good.

Sunday President Kosak came to our church. he filled in for the talk elder Romney was supposed to give. he gave me a shout out in his talk. (translated) " i think its wonderful that missionaries can come from so many different places. like from a small town where there are more cows than people" i found it funny. he gave a really good talk then he went and visited Elder Romney in the hospital. Good old elder Romney
was ready. church dress tie polished shoes and clean shaven in his hospital bed.
we went and had dinner with the Titigues and had a really fun night. thats the story of my crazy week.
